How to apply for
a Restore Grant

Farmers and ranchers can receive up to $25k to implement climate-smart practices that sequester carbon. Applications are closed but here is what you need to know for the Fall of 2026.

How to Apply

Step 1: Read the grant guidelinesand determine eligibility. (the one linked here is from the last round for your reference).

Step 2: Develop a scope of work of 1 to 4 eligible conservation practices.

Step 3: Input practices into the COMET Planner (linked in the application) to determine the CO2 sequestration.

Step 4: Find a Technical Assistance Provider to sign on to the project if awarded.

Step 5: Submit your application!
